Fort Worth Anniversary Weekend Extravaganza

For our anniversary we decided to go Bed and Breakfast hopping in Fort Worth. We haven't spent any time in Fort Worth since 2003 so we were due for a return visit.

Here is the first bed and breakfast we stayed at, the Hattie May Inn. It was built around the turn of the century and was owned by one of the richest families in Fort Worth at the time. I read something about there being a shootout in the main room there and it being haunted, but Glenn wouldn't let me talk about it because it freaked him out.

Our second B&B was called Azalea Plantation. It wasn't a historical property like the Hattie May Inn but it was very nice all the same. We had a bigger room and it was 'An Evening in Paris'. Thankfully for us, it was nothing like any of the evenings I spent in Paris when I went there (think smelly subways, rude people, dog poop, and 100 degree temperatures). Here are some pictures:

Paris!

Isn't he happy!

The activities were rather varied of course as my planning abilities know no limits. We visited the Kimball and Modern art museums, the Omnimax Imax Theater, the Botanical Gardens, took in as much of the Stockyards as we could muster, and ate lots and lots of yummy food (the diet was on hiatus for the weekend). For your viewing pleasure, here are some photographs of us participating in the aforementioned activities:
